Situated amidst beautiful karst scenery in the hinterland of Dalmatia, yet only a short drive away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, charming Villa Gardens will quickly get you in the vacation mood.
True to its name, the villa is surrounded by numerous garden areas, with a colorful array of Mediterranean herbs, seasonal vegetables and fruit at your disposal, of course. At the center, however, is the incredibly enticing private pool, surrounded by a beautiful stone terrace with stunning views of the mountains, inviting you to relax and sunbathe. A few steps up is the shaded outdoor dining area, with a traditional built-in barbecue. Throw a few steaks on the barbecue, enjoy a cold drink and relax with your family.
From the terrace you have direct access to the living room with traditional wooden beamed ceilings, open stone walls and a fireplace, which together create a warm, authentic atmosphere. It is clear from the many thoughtful and colorful details that this villa has been furnished with care to make you feel welcome. The living room is connected to the well-equipped, vintage kitchen with a beautiful dining area. The kitchen invites you to enjoy local food made from fresh local produce, which you can buy directly from the lovely villa owners. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub on the ground floor. On the second floor you will find three comfortable, individually furnished bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds).

Villa Gardens is located in the small village of Duge Njive immersed within the spectacular karst landscape typical for the Dalmatian hinterland. There is a local restaurant at only 500 m from the villa, offering traditional spit roasted lamb and delicious homemade ham and cheese. For a larger variety of restaurants, bars and stores head to Vrgorac (cca. 20 km). This small town boasts rich cultural and gastronomic heritage which can be witnessed in the beautiful ethno-villages and agrotourisms of the area. The highlight is, however, the nearby Makarska Riviera, with its heavenly beaches, fragrant pinewoods and the stunning Biokovo Mountain towering above the glorious coastline. Lively nightlife and a rich variety of water sports are available here, as well as daily trips to the beautiful islands of Hvar and Brac. With mountains, sea and rivers side by side, this region is also a perfect playground for adventure enthusiasts.
