This jewel is located alone on a cottage field with good hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. Your stay is sweetened with the proximity to the Sysendalen ski center. The area is an El Dorado for outdoor enthusiasts all year round and skiing enthusiasts in the winter months. Maurset is the start of Hardangervidda to the west, where you can explore nature and the abundant wildlife and birdlife. Why not take a trip to Bla, Dyranut and Finse. You are also a short distance from the land trade and just a short drive away you will find the spectacular waterfall Vøringsfossen, the village of Eidfjord with the most facilities on the Hardangerfjord. It is recommended to drive on the national tourist routes along the Hardangerfjord, which offer rich nature and sights along the way. Also take advantage of the opportunities for fjord cruises, guided tours and much more!

Note: Please note that the house can only be reached via a very steep gravel road with some holes. In winter, this is not to be driven and reach the house on foot, a paid snowmobile can be booked.
