Your house was originally built as a bakery times a large courtyard. It is surrounded by a beautiful courtyard garden, which is bordered on one side by a natural creek. Meanwhile, the house is nicely decorated as a holiday home.

The house has two separate bedrooms as well as a place to sleep in the living area. Please note that one bedroom is used as a connecting room.

The carefully landscaped garden offers at any time, a place to enjoy the sun or to relax and unwind.

The main building is now a café and a guest house, so you can also order your breakfast there. Furthermore, the tradition of textile Blue pressure here is maintained. Exhibitions and seminars complete the program. In just a few hundred meters away you will find traditional restaurants and pubs, z.T. with art exhibitions, galleries and studios that keep the traditions of Schwalenberger Malerkolonie still alive. Your host offers a free pickup from the train Schieder, and the possibility to borrow bicycles.

Your house is located in the western Uplands, near the southern slopes of the Teutoburg Forest. In addition to the natural attractions of this water and foliage forested low mountain range you are here in one of the richest cultural landscapes in Germany. much the German Fairy Tale Road, the road of the Weser Renaissance, the World Heritage monastery and Corvey Castle, the Fürstenberg porcelain factory, the largest open-air museum in Detmold, Externsteine, the Hermann Monument and much more: In the vicinity are waiting for you.
