The cottage is an old peasant house located at the end of the hamlet of La Rive, in the heart of Ségala. Perched on a summit at an altitude of 400 metres, it overlooks the gorges of the Viaur in a green setting, on the edge of the forest. For lovers of peace, nature, hiking, botany, mushroom picking, astronomy and swimming, the location is ideal. The cottage adjoins a hiking trail that leads in 10 minutes to the river and its beach. This trail is connected to a multitude of others in the area and to the botanical trail along the Viaur.
The village of Pampelonne is 5 minutes by car or 40 minutes on foot by the trails. It offers all the necessary services for shopping and health and friendly and gastronomic events take place there every week in the summer. And if you miss the city, you could quickly take a little trip to Albi. Welcome to our future holidaymakers!
The cottage was recently renovated by Philippe, an architect, in an ecological spirit with natural and breathable materials (lime walls, hemp lime slab, terracotta tiles, oak floors, etc.). The cottage and water are heated thanks to a wood boiler and solar panels which allows stays in any season.
The cottage is independent and facing south, has a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, a garden and the possibility to walk in the hectares of wood of the property.
